Wills Wing now offers a wheel kit designed for use with our faired aluminium basetube. The kit consists of a pair of UHMW wheels, mounting brackets, and required hardware. The brackets fit over the faired aluminium basetube and are secured in place using the bolts which attach the basetube to the corner brackets. The wheels mount on small axles at the ends of the brackets. These wheels offer minimal added drag and weight, preserving the advantages of the Slipstream or Litestream Control Bars. The brackets are the usual clear-anodized aluminium color. The illustration shows them as a yellowish/brass color for clarity. $140.00 |

Hall Wheel The Hall Wheel is a 5" diameter, 2" wide molded plastic wheel, and comes with a 3 piece hub and mounting screws. It's a good all purpose wheel for any pilot skill level. It will mount outside the control bar corner using the wheel compatible corner brackets and the 3.5" axle. The axle and wheel plug on and off the corner bracket easily, for quick set up and break down. Alternately, the Hall Wheel (without axle or wheel-compatible corner bracket) can be mounted directly over the basetube. The basetube must then be removed at both ends for glider breakdown. Finsterwalder Wheel The Finsterwalder wheel is an 8" diameter light weight pneumatic wheel which works great for training and for any pilot who wants the maximum landing security offered by a large diameter free rolling wheel. It offers the same mounting options as the Hall Wheel - either with the wheel-compatible corner bracket and axle for quick, convenient breakdown, or directly over the basetube without need for the special corner brackets and axles.

Hot Wheels are 6 inches in diameter. The wheel disconnects from the hub with the turn of a dial. The hub fits any 1 1/8 inch basetube. These wheels also have a locking mechanism which prevents wheels from rolling on launch.. $119.00 |
